1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Radio Excellence Awards Zambia ("REAZ") website, WhatsApp bot, Facebook Messenger bot, or any related services ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Services.

2. Description of Services

REAZ provides a platform for the public to vote for nominees in various radio broadcasting award categories across Zambia. Voting is available through our website, WhatsApp, and Facebook Messenger. Each vote costs ZMW 2.00, payable via mobile money.

3. Voting Rules

  • •Each vote costs ZMW 2.00
  • •Voters may cast multiple votes for different categories and nominees
  • •Votes are only counted after successful payment confirmation
  • •Votes are final and non-refundable once payment is confirmed
  • •Any attempt to manipulate the voting process through automated means, fraud, or other unfair practices will result in disqualification of those votes
  • •REAZ reserves the right to invalidate votes that are deemed fraudulent

4. Payments

  • •All payments are processed through Lipila, our mobile money payment partner
  • •By initiating a payment, you authorise the deduction of the specified amount from your mobile money account
  • •Payment confirmations are sent via the channel used to cast the vote (website, WhatsApp, or Messenger)
  • •Failed payments do not result in recorded votes
  • •Refunds are only issued in cases of duplicate charges or technical errors, at REAZ's discretion

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • •Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to cast votes (other than our official WhatsApp and Messenger bots)
  • •Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Services
  • •Provide false or misleading information
  • •Use the Services for any unlawful purpose
  • •Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the REAZ platform, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Radio Excellence Awards Zambia or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We are not responsible for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Services.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, REAZ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or payment processing errors.

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Zambia. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zambia.
